When I learned my home had a radon problem I reached out to Eddie and Radon Solutions. We met at the home and I quickly saw why he is highly recommended by others. He's a General contractor who specializes in this work with special certifications in this field. Eddie designed and installed an active soil depressurization system (ASD) that included coring two holes through the foundation and removed 5 gallons of sub-slab material to create a field extension pit. A PVC pipe connected from the sealed core hole to an electric Radon fan exiting exhaust above the roofline. He and his crew spent most of the day to complete the installation which was of high quality and professional, while being unobtrusive. They worked quickly and left the premises clean and tidy. Truly a solution to our Radon problem. We live in the San Fernando valley hillside which unlikely most areas in LA, actually has rather high Radon levels (we were seeing 4-9+ in bedrooms). Given Covid keeps us at home more, this was quite alarming. Eddie and his team encapsulated our crawlspace in one morning and we are now at an astonishing 0.2 PiC/L (as good as outdoor air). We are now more energy efficient, and have a clean moisture barrier. Eddie worked around unique features of our home and customized a solution. He also worked with my own preferences on how to do the lower level. Eddie was very personable, energetic, focused, and professional. He is a major asset to the Los Angeles community. If I could give this company 100 stars I would. One of the best experiences I've had. Recently purchased a home that tested high for Radon. Being from the East Coast I know all too well of the presence and danger of Radon in the home. Finding a mitigator in California is not easy...I believe there are only a few licensed to do this in the state. I found Eddie Hutchingson. He was spectacular from beginning to end and the results were amazing. As a mitigator, Eddie installed a pipe from the ground out of the house with a quiet fan that takes the Radon out of the home. It has worked beautifully and is unseen and non-intrusive. Eddie and his guys are very respectful and their work is fast & diligent. This a family business. Eddie and his wife Tracy are beyond lovely and really take pride in what they do. They are both very hands on. Communicative, professional, knowledgable, prompt, hard working, very reasonable and such a pleasure to deal with. He told me exactly what to expect, with an exact estimate and kept his word. Really such a wonderful experience all around.

Eddie is fantastic! Can't recommend him enough. Answered all of my questions (and I ask a LOT of questions).
